If you can't adopt a horse, why not sponsor one of these gentle loving animals? We are receiving horses all the time and have had to turn them away. There are not enough sponsors; so please help make a difference and help the horses get back on their hooves. If you are interested in adopting one of our horses,

The horses at Corral of Comfort are available for adoption to the right person. Every horse is different. They range from 1,000 to 4,000 lbs. We put a lot of time in our horses, and we want nothing but the best for them. Something to remember when buying a horse: the purchase price is the "cheapest" part; the upkeep is expensive. We know you understand how we feel. A lot of people assume that the horses at rescues are old; a few are, but most are young and still have a whole life ahead of them with the right person. Yes, we sell them so that we are able to buy more and put them through our rehabilitation program. These horses deserve new lease on life. Our horses range from 6 months to 15 years old -- now what is old?
We have many more horses that need your help. We will be posting their pictures, as they are available. You don't have to make a lifetime commitment to make a difference for a lifetime! We are always receiving horses; so it's difficult to update our web page as they arrive, but we are doing the best that we can. We have lots to do here at the Ranch, but you are also very important to us.
All Equines here at Corral of Comfort have medical records from the day they arrive. The horses are sound (we do not sell unsound horses). Each horse is different and remember there is no perfect horse. Once we have given them the proper medical attention and training, they are sold for fare market value. This way we are able to continue to accept and save other horses that need our help and your support. If you are unable to sponsor a horse at this time, maybe you are able to make a donation to one of the horses you see on our website. All donations are greatly needed, large or small. We can't do it alone; we need your show of support.
If you are interested in donating a horse in need, we require answers to the following questions:
- Why do you wish to donate this horse?
- Where did you get the horse and how long have you had it?
- What is the horse's age?
- Who is your vet?
- Are shots and de-worming current?
- What is the horse's level of training, if any?
- Is the horse good with kids?
- Where is the horse being boarded?
- Is it sound; is there anything wrong with the horse, special needs?
- Is the horse underweight?
- Does the horse have any bad habits?
- Is the horse on medications?

We take horses from private parties. We do require a minimum donation of $300 and up to care for each donated horse until a sponsor can be found. This is a tax-deductible donation, which includes the value of the horse. We realize that some people cannot afford their horses or must donate them due to family problems or other situations.
Also you must provide a letter stating you are donating this horse, with a description and value of the horse, to Corral of Comfort Horse Rescue Inc.. This is for tax purposes. We also need any vet records and a record of what you have done with the horse so that we are aware of the horse's needs and his medical history.
We would be more than happy to assist you in any way we can.
