We here at Corral of Comfort are very Dedicated to Rehabilitating and rescuing horses from very sad fated situations neglect though carelessness, some from their owner, The Race Tracks not fast enough to win or a bowed tendon,the lay up is to long so there discarded.
Their some good people who are just unable to care for them any longer. Plus the Unwanted horses abandoned, neglected thrown away like trash. Allot of these horses are sent to slaughter still have many years ahead of therm. It is so much misrepresentation that these animals are unfit for life.
Many of the horses have Medical needs when they get here some so underweight. Were a Voice for these Gentle Giant's. We here at Corral of Comfort gentle them and allow them to trust again.
We provide physical & emotional care threw are Volunteers. We have an educational program that we instill values with our youth and bring public awareness which is is very in portion.
Yes we do place them in loving homes with approved placement. Donations are greatly appreciated and very much needed as we take in horses as our funding allows us to and sometimes we can't help it if there a horse tied to our fencing in the morning.
Our Goal is to provide with a safe environment Veterinary care food Farrier Shelter a safe place until there able to be placed in a new home.
We are not funded by the government, we depend on your support and threw grants and our sponsorship program.
